First class: Friday, September 20, 2019 (10:00 a.m.); St. Andrew’s Library

Poetry of the Spirit is back for Fall 2019. This class is designed to be encouraging and supportive, this six-week poetry course will focus on assisting each individual to learn how the craft of writing poetry can help birth poems of the spirit. A handout is provided each week with a specific focus and invitation to learn, including 10 – 15 sample poems. Each participant will write a poem a week to be shared with the group, which provides brief verbal and written response to each person. The class is steered toward honest and gentle feedback.

Participation in one of the previous workshops is not a pre-requisite for joining this class. All are welcome.
