Centering Prayer

The Spiritual Journey Meets from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month in the Chapel of the Resurrection
Father Thomas Keating’s classic DVD series entitled The Spiritual Journey is the catalyst for a sequence of gatherings being held at St. Andrew’s that will run throughout the program year. In this series, we delve into the Christian contemplative tradition with an emphasis on Father Keating’s special interest in both anthropology and psychology. Each evening will include centering prayer, a DVD segment and a brief period of sharing. The program is facilitated by Sue Kraemer and sponsored by The Center at St. Andrew’s. For questions or more information, contact Sue (smkraemer@gmail.com) or Cherry Haisten, Center Program Director (cherryh@saintandrewsseattle.com).

Centering Prayer in Transition

After a summer Sabbath, Wednesday evening Centering Prayer times at St. Andrew’s usually resume in September. This September, after 14 years, we will no longer have gatherings at that time. Plans are in process for beginning other Centering Prayer alternatives on Monday evenings. Please stay tuned or contact Cherry to ask questions, give suggestions, or offer to volunteer.
